Pumpkin And Ginger Ice Cream (for Ice Cream Maker)

- 2 cups double cream shopping list
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger shopping list
- 4 egg yolks shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree shopping list
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the yolks with the sugar. Whisk for 5 minutes.
- Stir the cream and yolks together and cook over low heat. Do not walk away and don't stop stirring! It should take you about 6 or 7 minutes to get a creamy consistancy.
- Let this cream cool down and mix in well the pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, ginger and lemon juice.
- Put the cream in the fridge for a couple of hours to chill.
- Follow the instructions of your ice cream maker and finish your ice cream.
- I served the ice cream with pumpkin compote and it was delicious!!
