How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325F, grease an 8" square pan.
  • Place the walnuts and almonds in a food processor and process until they become a coarse flour.
  • Add the dates, prunes and honey and blend into the nuts.
  • Add cocoa, cinnamon, oil, almond butter and applesauce and pulse everything together to form a sticky blend.
  • Add the berries and pulse in, so that they are in pieces but not completely pureed.
  • Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 40 – 50 minutes.
  • Cool completely before cutting
