    Cat: I have a feeling that the person who wrote the bad review just didn't know what to do with the powder. The ingredients in this dried concoction could in no way be offensive if properly added to tomatoes, tomato paste, broth etc. I think this is a great starter base and have a sense that the other "cook" doesn't!!!~~~~~~~~~~Sas

    Following this recipe lead to the nastiest tasting fowl pot of chili anyone had ever tasted. Several members of the family tried to save the meal and the evening from disaster, but to no avail. We did however manage to after about a half an hour to reverse the flavors to something almost mediochre.
    Got to hand it to you. You played a good joke on us ...haha. I'll count this one off as being my own fault... I should have known better since the ingredients of this recipe were so very different from so many other recipes
