- 11/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 pond elbow macaroni shopping list
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) evaporated milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons honey dijon mustard shopping list
- 1/4 grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- freshly ground pepper shopping list
- 1/2 pound grated cheese shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil add the salt and pasta.
- 2. Follow package instructions and cook until al dente. Drain. and let cool.
- 3. Microwave milk and chicken broth until hot and steamy but not boiling. Melt the butter in a pan and whisk in flour then the hot milk mixture and continue to whisk until thick and bubbly 3-4 minutes. Whisk in the mustard, parmesan and pepper. turn off the heat and then stir in the cheddar until melted.
- 4. Add the drained pasta to sauce and stir until everything is well combined over low heat stir to heat throught and serve hot.
