How to make it

  • Cut cored and peeled apples in rings.
  • Combine sugar, water, cinnamon candies and food color.
  • Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes.
  • Add apples to syrup and cook until transparent.
  • Pack in hot jars then cover with syrup and adjust lids.
  • Process in boiling water bath for 25 minutes.

    LOVE THIS RECIPE. I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA AND THEY DON'T SELL CINNAMON APPLE RINGS. NOT EVEN DURING THE HOLIDAIES WHICH SUCKS.
