Zesty Bean Salsa

- 2 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained shopping list
- 1 cup frozen whole kernel corn, thawed shopping list
- 1 white onion diced shopping list
- 1 green bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 1/2 red bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 2 jalapeno peppers diced (leave seeds for extra heat) shopping list
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained shopping list
- 1 cup zesty Italian-style salad dressing shopping list
- juice of 1 lime shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves minced shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon Mexican oregano (or regular oregano) shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon cracked pepper shopping list
- - optional 1 bunch cilantro diced- shopping list
How to make it
- 1.In a medium bowl, combine black beans, corn, onion, garlic, green & red bell pepper, jalapeno peppers, cilantro (optional) and tomatoes. Add the zesty Italian-style salad dressing and lime juice. Season with salt, oregano and cracked pepper; mix well. Cover, and refrigerate overnight to blend flavors.
