Red Velvet Cake Balls

- eggs and oil shopping list
- 1 pkg (18.25 oz) red velvet cake mix shopping list
- 1/2 c butter,room temperature shopping list
- 1-1/2 c confectioners sugar shopping list
- 1 TB milk shopping list
- 3/4 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 3 pkgs (12 0z ea) white chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 TB oil shopping list
- red and green food coloring shopping list
- red and green decorating sugars shopping list
How to make it
- Using eggs,oil and water,prepare cake mix and bake 13x9" cake according to directions;cool
- On med. speed beat butter until smooth. On low,gradually beat in confectioners sugar until blended. Add milk and vanilla;beat till fluffy. Crumble cake into frosting;beat until just combined. Shape into 36 balls.
- Place in single layer on baking sheet;refrigerate till firm,about 1 hour
- Line baking sheet with wax paper. In microwave-safe bowl,mix chocoloate chips and oil. Microwave on med. 1 min.;stir,then,in 10 second intervals,heat,stirring,until melted and smooth.
- Using fork or skewer,dip cake balls into chocolate,letting excess drip off;transfer to baking sheet.
- Can be decorated with decorating sugars ,if desired.
