How to make it

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 Deg F
  • In a food processor, combine butter and sugar briefly, just until it forms into a ball. Add eggs, heavy cream, cinnamon, and vanilla, and process until blended.
  • Lightly butter a 9"x13" baking dish. Break up the gnarly, cool, awesome Kick Axx doughnuts into 1" pieces and layer the pan. Scatter raisins over the top. Pour the egg mixture over the doughnuts.; allow to soak for about 10 minutes. You'll need to push doughnut pieces down during this time to ensure even coverage by the egg mixture.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to brown the top. Kick Axx Doughnut bread pudding is done when the custard is set but still soft.
  • Making the Rock'n Rum sauce: Melt butter over medium heat in a sauce pan. Take off the heat and add confectioners sugar. Whisk to blend. Add Spiced Rum to taste. Pour the Rock'n Rum Sauce over the Kick Ass Doughnut bread pudding and allow it to soak in.
  • You now have Rock'n, Kick Axx, Doughnut bread pudding :-D
