Spinach And Artichoke Au Gratin Recipe
This is one of my favorite dishes. The blending of artichokes spinach and cheese is unbeatable. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 12 ounces marinated artichoke hearts
  • 30 ounces frozen spinach thawed and squeezed
  • 9 ounces cream cheese
  • 6 tablespoon butter softened
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. Drain marinade from artichokes then set aside a few for garnish.
  2. Distribute remaining artichokes over the bottom of a shallow square backing dish.
  3. With a mixer beat cream cheese and butter until smooth and fluffy then gradually blend in milk.
  4. Arrange 1/2 of the thawed and drained spinach over artichokes.
  5. Spread 1/2 of cream cheese mixture over first layer of spinach then add final layer of spinach.
  6. Spread remaining cream cheese over last layer of spinach then sprinkle lightly with pepper.
  7. Dust with parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered at 375 for 45 minutes then garnish with reserved artichokes.
