How to make it

  • Wash Pork Chops with cold water
  • Pat dry with a paper towel
  • Season with Sea Salt and Fresh Cracked Pepper (add Tony's Cajun Seasoning for a kick)
  • Let stand till they reach room temp about 1/2 hour
  • Pre Heat Oven to 325F
  • Cook 15 minutes and then flip
  • continue to cook 15 to 20 additional minutes or till desired temp of 150-160 degrees is reached
  • remove from oven and cover with foil
  • let rest for 10 minutes
  • While Pork chops are in oven
  • Peel, Core, Slice and Chop Green Apples into bite size pieces
  • Peel and Thinly Slice Onion in Half Moon Shape (don't dice)
  • Melt Butter in Large Frying Pan Med to Med/High heat
  • Add Onion, Apple and Sugar (you can add more sugar if you like it sweeter your apples may decide for you)
  • Season w/ Salt and Pepper while cooking
  • Cook till Tender
  • Serve Pork Chop on Plate and Top with Green Apple and Onion Compote. Serve with a glass of Peligrino or your favorite Chardonnay.
  • Side Suggestions: Baked Sweet Potatoe and Broccoli with lemon juice and some parmsean cheese
  • ENJOY!!!
