Buttered Turnips With Sesame Salt

- 1 bunch small (japanese) turnips with their greens (about 1 lb) shopping list
- 1.5 tsp butter shopping list
- lemon juice to taste shopping list
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted until very dark and roughly ground with a good pinch of salt shopping list

How to make it
- Separate the greens from the turnips; wash the turnips and cut into quarters. Rinse the greens and slice horizontally into wide strips.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan. When it starts to sizzle, add the turnips and sautee for about 3 minutes. Do not allow the turnips to brown.
- Add a small glass of water and cover the saucepan. Simmer the turnips until just tender, about 5 minutes.
- Uncover the saucepan and add the greens and a good pinch of salt. Cook for about 2 minutes more, until the greens just wilt.
- Add a few drops of lemon juice, to taste and serve sprinkled with the sesame salt.
