Lime Garlic Shrimp

- 1 package thin spaghetti shopping list
- 4 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 pound uncooked, medium shrimp, peeled and deveined shopping list
- 1 package frozen snow peas, thawed shopping list
- 1 medium sweet red pepper, julienned shopping list
- 3 tablespoons fresh basil, minced (or 1 tablespoon dried basil) shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsely, minced shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth (splurge on the white wine!) shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lime juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lime peel shopping list
How to make it
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
- In a skillet, saute garlic in butter for 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp, peas, red pepper, basil, parsley and pepper.
- Stri-fry for 4 minutes or until shrimp are pink and vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Add wine or broth and lime juice.
- Cook and stir for another minute.
- When spaghetti is done and drained, put in large bowl.
- Stir in cheese, milk and lime peel and thoroughly toss.
- Serve shrimp mixture over the spaghetti.
- Serve with warm french bread on the side.
