Asian Slaw

- 4 c shredded cabbage shopping list
- 1 c shredded carrots shopping list
- 1 small onion,finely chopped shopping list
- pinch salt and pepper shopping list
- 1-1/2 TB seasoned rice vinegar shopping list
- 1/3 c fat-free mayonnaise shopping list
- 1-1/4 tsp Asian sesame oil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp sriracha (or other red chili sauce) shopping list
- 1/4 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1 TB sesame seeds or chopped peanuts shopping list
How to make it
- Toss cabbage,onions ,carrots and salt in a bowl. Season with pepper
- Whisk together vinegar,mayonnaise,sesame oil,sriracha and sugar till smooth. Taste;add pinch of salt ,if necessary
- Pour dressing over shredded vegetables and toss to combine. Serve slaw immediately or chill a few hours,tossing again before serving. Finish with a shower of sesame seeds or chopped peanuts,if desired.
