How to make it

  • preheat oven to 350. Combine all base ingredients except marshmallows at low speed until crumbly. Press onto bottom of a 9x13 ungreased pan.
  • Bake 12 to 18 mins or until light golden brown.
  • remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with marshmallows. Return to oven for 1 - 2 mins or until marshmallows start to puff.
  • Cool while preparing topping.

  • Topping:
  • I a large saucepan, heat corn syrup , butter, vanilla and chips until chips are melted and mixture is smooth, stirring constantly.
  • Stir in cereal and nuts. Immediately spread warm topping over marshmallows, spreading to cover.
  • Chill and cut into bars.
  • They told me these freeze well and I told them they'll never see the freezer!! LOL
