Black Bean Brownies

- 1 (15 ounce) can no-salt-added black beans, drained and rinsed shopping list
- 3 large eggs shopping list
- 1/3 cup melted Promise tub spread shopping list
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder shopping list
- 2 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350F
- spray cooking spray on an 8-inch baking pan. Place black beans, eggs, melted Promise spread, cocoa powder, vanilla extract and sugar in food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Remove the blade and gently stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts. Transfer mixture to the prepared pan. Bake the brownies for 30-35 minutes or until just set in the center. COOL before cutting into squares.

Makes quite a good brownie. Not as chewy as the Betty Crocker's mixes but they are very convincing and no one would know beans were substituted for flour.
