Making home made bread crumbs is so simple. I'm posting this recipe for those beginners out there who are still buying theirs in a can.
Ingredients
- Left over bread of any kind ( crust ends from loaves, left over pieces of a baguette, insides of a scali I dig out to make a submarine sandwich) It doesn't matter what type of bread either as I've made bread crumbs from rye, wheat, multi grain and mixed it all together shopping list
- italian seasoning to taste if you want to make an Italian flavored bread crumb shopping list
How to make it
- Add all bread pieces to blender
- Add Italian seasoning if making flavored bread crumbs
- Blend until desired consistency
- Add to freezer bag and freeze
- Take from freezer when ready to use
