Ingredients

How to make it

  • Lightly season steak with salt and pepper and grill or broil to medium rare.
  • Let rest about 5 minutes, then slice thinly, against the grain See Photo. Set aside.
  • In large stock pot or similar(I used cast iron), melt butter and add garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook about 2 minutes, over low heat.
  • Add mushrooms and asparagus and continue to cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, while preparing dressing.
  • In medium glass bowl, combine citrus juice, Worcestershire and fish sauces, honey, Thai seasoning, dill, and salt and pepper. Whisk well.
  • Slowly add oils, a lil at a time, whisking constantly, until all oil is added and well mixed.
  • Separate noodles as much as you can, and drain.
  • Add noodles, arugala and spinach to mushroom and asparagus mixture and toss to combine. See Photo
  • Pour dressing over all of these ingredients and add sliced steak, toss to coat, and cover, keeping heat on low, and let "steam" about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove lid, turn off heat and serve.
  • Serve with plenty of fresh cilantro, slivered almonds and fried onions.
