Beef And Broccoli

- 150 grams (6 ounces) beef, pounded with a meat hammer and cut in small pieces shopping list
- 3 spring onions, 1/4 inch slices on the bias shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced shopping list
- 16 grams ginger, sliced thinly (a piece about the size of a large olive) shopping list
- 1 lb broccoli, cut in large pieces shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 3Tbsp oyster sauce shopping list
- 2 tsp dark soy sauce shopping list
- 1/4 tsp sugar shopping list
- 3/4 tsp cornstarch shopping list
- 1 Tbsp rice wine shopping list
- 1 tsp sesame oil shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 Tbsp peanut oil shopping list
How to make it
- Combine the sauce ingredients and set aside.
- Fill a pot with water, add a Tbsp of salt. Bring to a boil and add the broccoli. Cook the broccoli about 4 minutes and drain.
- Heat the wok until smoking hot, add some salt and the peanut oil. When the oil begins to smoke again, add the beef in one layer. Leave it in the pan one minute then turn it over and add the garlic, ginger and onions. Stir-fry until it becomes fragrant and add the sauce ingredients.
- Put the broccoli on a plate and place the meat mixture on top or add the broccoli to the wok and mix thoroughly.
- Serve.
