How to make it

  • Sperate the yolks n white in a two different bowl ... beat the egg whites 1st till it becomes thick white mousse.. add sugar clarified butter milk lemon zest then add egg yolks n beat well ... sift together flour n baking powder
  • Add flour n baking powder to the egg yolk mixture n mix well then fold in egg white little by little in the mix so that cake batter takes air ... fold in well ...
  • Grease the cake pan with 1/2 tbsp of clarified butter and add the batter to it ... bake it in a preheated oven for 30-35 minutes on 160- 180 degree depending on the oven you have
  • check with a tooth pick poking in the center of the cake when it come clear its done....
  • Ps : u can add nuts / raisins as per ur desire...
  • Tip : Never open the oven door while baking the cake
