How to make it

  • Saute: the celery, onion and green pepper in the stick of margarine/butter until tender.
  • Grease a 9 x 13 pan and layer the dried bread cubes
  • next add the chicken on top of bread cubes.
  • Spread the the cooked celery, onion and green pepper on top of the chicken.
  • Pour the thickened chicken broth on top of the veggies. (I thickened the chicken broth with corn starch)
  • Pour the cream on top.
  • Cover with foil
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
  • Remove from oven and spread cheese on top.
  • Cover with foil and let the cheese melt.
  • *if you don't have cream you can use a can of cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup.
