How to make it

  • In a large pot beat the eggs with the 2 cups of milk. Add the sugar and mix well.Cook over low heat stirring constantly til thickened and coats the back of a spoon.Approx 10 -15 mins.
  • Remove from heat. Cool. Add the cream and vanilla. Stir. Cover and refrigerate overnight .The next day follow your ice cream maker instructions.

    Just beat the eggs till they are mixed well with the milk then add the sugar.I just let the mixture cool to room temperature and then covered and refrigerated over night
