How to make it

  • mix everything in a bowl!
  • split the mixture into 2 greased/lined cake tins
  • bake at 180 Degrees Celsius/ gas mark 5? for 20-30 minutes
  • test with a wooden skewer, if it comes out dry it's ready, if not bake for a little longer
  • leave to cool before icing
  • I make a fudge frosting but don't have exact measurements: I mix icing sugar, butter, coco powder a little coffee granules dissolved in a little hot water. I experiment with these ingredients until I get a smooth consistency that tastes good ( I usually have to resist the urge to eat the whole bowl!) I sandwich this in between the two cakes and top it with this icing too.
