Swiss Green Bean & Squash Bake

- 1 lb fresh green beans, cut shopping list
- 1 small yellow squash, sliced shopping list
- 1 small zucchini squash, sliced shopping list
- 1/2 medium sweet onion, sliced shopping list
- 1/2 tsp dried basil shopping list
- salt & pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/2 cup mayo shopping list
- 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese (and additional for topping) shopping list
- 12 buttery crackers, crushed shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Steam or boil green beans until crisp-tender. (Canned cut green beans can also be used...)
- Saute onion and squash. Add green beans and seasonings. Toss to combine.
- Mix mayo and cheese together.
- Pour veggies into greased 2 qt baking dish, spread mayo/cheese mixture on top. Sprinkle with cracker crumbs and more cheese if desired.
- Bake 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
