Italian Meat Balls - Mangia Bene

- 2 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1 lb ground pork shopping list
- 1 Cup Parmesan shopping list
- 1/2 Teaspoon basil shopping list
- 3/4 Teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons parsley - Fresh is better for this shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 Teaspoon red pepper shopping list
- 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 7 cloves garlic - Crushed shopping list
- 4 Pieces of white bread - crust removed shopping list
- 1/3 Cup milk shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- -bread Crumbs- shopping list
- 5 Pieces of White toast shopping list
- 1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon basil - dry shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 Teaspoon parsley - Dry shopping list
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil or unsalted butter melted shopping list
How to make it
- Make your bread crumbs first. Mince your toast and put it in a bowl. Add all your dry ingredients Mix well. Then mix in your olive oil or butter.
- Pre-heat oven to 350
- Now to the meat balls. Anytime you mix your items Do NOT compress or sqush. Start off by soaking your bread in milk in a large bowl. Add in the meat and mix. Mix in all dry spices and garlic. Finally add your Bread crumbs and mix. To hold it all together add the eggs. Once eggs are incorporated into the mix start making your balls. Take a pinch about 1 1/2 inchs around and roll it lightly. Place the balls in a Glass baking dish as close as u can get without pushing them together. See Photo
- Bake @ 350 for 35 min Then Ramp heat up to 400 and drain off fat. Flip the meat balls and return to the oven. Cook an additional 10 min.
