How to make it

  • Sauce:
  • Combine ingredients in saucepan.
  • Stir over low heat to dissolve sugar and melt butter.
  • Increase heat so sauce come to gentle simmer.
  • Combine dumpling ingredients.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dumpling mixture into sauce.
  • Cover saucepan and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  • Serving Suggestion: Serve with cream or vanilla icecream.
