Wonderful dessert made with what's normally in our pantry!

Ingredients
  • **Sauce**
  • 1 tblespn butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Golden Syrup
  • 1&1/2 cup water
  • **Dumplings**
  • 1 tblspn melted butter
  • 1/3 cup Golden Syrup
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1&1/4 cup SR flour

Directions
  1. Sauce:
  2. Combine ingredients in saucepan.
  3. Stir over low heat to dissolve sugar and melt butter.
  4. Increase heat so sauce come to gentle simmer.
  5. Combine dumpling ingredients.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dumpling mixture into sauce.
  7. Cover saucepan and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Serving Suggestion: Serve with cream or vanilla icecream.
