Peanut stuffing - best suited for turkey, but can go with chicken or pork as well. This recipe is for a 12 pound turkey.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 c minced onion
  • 1 1/2 c chopped celery, both stalks and leaves
  • 3/4 c butter
  • 8 c bread crumbs
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sage
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 c chopped peanuts

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Sautee the onion and celery in the butter until tender.
  3. Stir in 2 1/2 to 3 c of the bread crumbs.
  4. Move from skillet to a deep bowl.
  5. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix.
  6. Add all ingredients to a greased 9" pan and bake for 30 minutes.
