A very victorian type of cookie. Closer to a cracker, but still very delectable, still very dessert like. Especially good with tea and vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1/2 c margarine
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1 Tbsp distilled white vinegar
  • 1 3/4 c flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 c finely chopped walnuts

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 300.
  2. Cream butter and margarine.
  3. Add sugar and vinegar and beat until fluffy.
  4. Sift the flour and baking soda together.
  5. Add flour mix to butter mix.
  6. Stir in walnuts.
  7. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets; bake for 30 minutes.
