Ingredients

How to make it

  • Remove skin from the cooked salmon, and check for bones
  • Mash with a fork in a large bowl, and add all ingredients except the oil See Photo
  • Heat the oil in a pan on medium, make sure it's hot before adding the cakes
  • Form salmon into small patties, and fry for about 2-3 minutes each side, or until golden brown, and crisp. See Photo
  • Blend the ingredients for the dill sauce, and serve with each pattie
  • ** these were great on the grill, too!

    Made these for supper last night and they are very good.For the bread crumbs i used lactose and gluten free oatmeal ground up semi fine as they are large flakes.I did not have the dill sauce
    (dairy issues) but my nephew loved it, even put it on his veggies.

    I made the patties mid morning and put them in the fridge till 1/2
    before frying. They kept their shape very well, and they had a nice flavor.

    I had to save this recipe, it sounds alot better than my recipe, which is basically like a meatloaf recipe (egg, onion, bread crumbs, s & p).
