How to make it

  • Brown meat in skillet.
  • Add onion and green pepper halfway through browning process.
  • Drain.
  • Pour into slow cooker.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients except cheese.
  • Cover and cook on Low 7-9 hours.
  • Serve in bowls topped with cheddar cheese.

    Basic but should work out to be a great chili If you're going to cook it for 7 - 9 hours you could start with dried pinto beans and get better texture & flavor; how quaint. RJ
