- 50ml oil shopping list
- 1 chopped onion shopping list
- 1 chopped clove garlic shopping list
- 2 tomatoes, peeled, deseeded and chopped shopping list
- 1 teaspoon paprika shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron shopping list
- 10 peppercorns shopping list
- 1 clove (optional) shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin shopping list
- 1/2 litre chicken or veg stock shopping list
- 800g cooked and roughly shredded chicken shopping list
- 100g roughly broken lasagne sheets - the precooked sort are easiest because they can be added straight to the pot. shopping list
- Chopped parsley to garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Heat the oil in a casserole and sautee the onion and garlic
- Add the prepared tomatoes and fry 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the paprika
- In a mortar, crush the saffron, peppercorns, clove and cumin and dissolve in a little of the stock.
- Add to the casserole with the rest of the stock
- Bring to the boil, reduce to a simmer and add the chicken and the pasta.
- Cook until the pasta is tender.
- Serve in the casserole pot, garnished with the parsley.
