Mexican Corn Bread

- 1 1/2 cup corn meal; self-rising shopping list
- 1/2 cup corn meal shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1 small jar cream corn shopping list
- 1 small jar pimentoes shopping list
- 2 each jalapeno peppers; chopped shopping list
- 1 onion; chopped shopping list
- 1 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 1/2 cup veg. oil shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven 450^F.
- Heat cast iron skillet in oven.
- Coat skillet well with shortening.
- Mix all ingredients and pour 1/2-inch thick in skillet.
- Bake until browned.
