Sweet And Spicy Pinwheels

- ½ cups Bottled cheese spread (Cheez Whiz) shopping list
- 2 teaspoons Chopped And Seeded Canned Chipotle pepper shopping list
- ¼ teaspoons Each Of salt And pepper shopping list
- 2 teaspoons Packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 package (397g Package) puff pastry, Thawed But Cold shopping list
- 1 whole egg shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon water shopping list
How to make it
- Note: double the above ingredients if using 2 sheets of puff pastry.
- Preheat oven to 375ºF.
- In a bowl mix together the cheese spread, chipotle pepper, salt, pepper and sugar.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pastry sheet to 14 x 11 inches. Spread mixture evenly over the pastry. Starting at the long end, roll up and then put in the fridge for 1 hour or freezer for 45 minutes .
- Remove from the fridge and trim ends. Cut into 1/2-inch slices and place cut side down on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Brush tops lightly with egg and water mixture. Bake 15-17 minutes till golden. So yummy!
