How to make it

  • Base:
  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add egg then sifted dry ingredients.
  • Press into a greased "swiss roll" tin.
  • Bake at 180C for 20 minutes.
  • Marshmallow Topping:
  • Dissolve the gelatine in the boiling water.
  • Add other ingredients and beat until stiff.
  • Pour onto base and refrigerate until set.

    A swiss roll tin is a shallow, long flat tin. Some call it a lamington tin. Some cookie sheets have sides on them so they would work well too.
