Taco Macaroni And Cheese

- 1 lb. leftover taco meat ( the recipe calls for 1 lb. ground beef, if using ground beef, add 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder when adding water and salsa) shopping list
- 1/3 cup your favorite salsa (I used chunky and added a little more) shopping list
- 2 cups macaroni, uncooked (I used mini fusilli) shopping list
- 1/2 lb. Velveeta, cut up (I used Mexican Velveeta) shopping list
- sour cream to garnish, optional shopping list
How to make it
- Add cooked meat to large skillet
- Stir in water, salsa (and chili powder if using ground beef)
- Bring to boil
- Stir in macaroni and cover
- Reduce heat to simmer
- Cook 8 to 10 minutes or until water is almost absorbed
- Add Velveeta and stir until cheese is all melted
