Just made these muffins 2 days ago and was quite pleased with the results. Ideal for brunch with a fruit salad! The recipe came from a Junior League cookbook from Oregon called Savor the Flavor of Oregon.

I just made these and they are very doughy. I couldn't even get them out of the paper. I even tried cooking them more but it didn’t help. Did I use the wrong type of apples(Gala)? I can't bake to save my life so I am sure it was something I did but any advice would be appreciated.
