How to make it

  • Melt butter in a large heavy duty pot
  • Add mushrooms and cook and stir till mushrooms tender
  • Add flour and cook and stir into a paste,
  • Add chicken broth and cook and whisk till a thickened sauce over medium high heat
  • Add the turkey and peas and mix well.
  • Add the cream and mix well
  • Simmer until thickened as desired
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Add some sherry wine as desired
  • Optional: Add some cooked pasta and cooked broccoli or simply serve over cooked rice or noodles as desired.
  • Note: recipe may be halved
