How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  • Cream butter, shortening and sugars together until fluffy.
  • Add egg white, vanilla, liqueur, vinegar and food colouring and beat smooth. See Photo
  • Stir in flours, baking soda, salt and cocoa until just combined. See Photo
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 11-12 minutes. Cool completely on the sheets. See Photo
  • If glazing:

  • Whisk together all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  • Drizzle over baked cookies and allow to set.
