Nadine Pound Cake

- Pound cake shopping list
- 3 cups all purpose flour sifted shopping list
- 3 cups sugar shopping list
- 6 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup milk (or more) shopping list
- 2 cups butter shopping list
- 1/2 stick of Butter Flavor Crisco stick shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 tsp almond extract shopping list
- glaze shopping list
- 3 cups confectioners sugar shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter shopping list
- 4 tsp evaporated milk ( any milk will do) shopping list
How to make it
- Cake
- Preheat oven at 325 degrees. ( If your oven is hotter please adjust accordingly.)
- Grease Bundt cake pan. ( It is okay to use Bakers Joy or baking spray with flour.)
- Sift flour 1 to 2 times, ( It very important that you sift the flour)
- Make sure that eggs and butter are at room temperture.
- Cream butter, crisco and sugar.
- Mix in eggs one by one.
- Mix in milk.
- Add vanilla and almond extract.
- Then add sifted flour 1/2 cup at a time until all mixed.
- Bake for 1 hour. ( Or until a knife of tooth pick comes out clean, be care not to over bake.)
- Glaze
- ( Mix this glaze by hand.)
- Sift confectioners sugar.
- Barely melt butter.
- Stir sugar and butter together.
- Add milk 1/2 tsp at a time until it is a honey like consisteny.
- Drizzle over cooled cake.
