My own version of Taco John's apple grandes. We don't have Taco John's here, so I decided to come up with a similiar dessert using what I could remember of theirs. I think theirs is a little different, but this is pretty good and a big hit with my ... More

Ingredients
  • 1 Pkg. Flour Tortillas
  • Cinnamon and Sugar Mixture
  • 1 Can Apple Pie filling (works best if apples are diced)
  • 1 Pkg. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 C. Cinnamon Red Hots, Crushed to powder

Directions
  1. In a large skillet, heat oil. One at a time, place tortillas in hot oil, until browned & crisp. (approx. 20-30 seconds)
  2. Immediately after removing from grease, powder tortillas with cinnamon/sugar mixture. Place on plate.
  3. Spread apple pie filling across tortilla.
  4. Sprinkle Cheese on top then crushed red hots.
  5. Bake or microwave until cheese is melted!
  6. Cut into 4 servings and serve Hot!
