Chocolate Cherry Upside-down Cake

- 1 can ( 19 oz. ) cherry pie filling shopping list
- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c. cocoa shopping list
- 2 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 3/4 c. soft butter or margarine shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Spread cherry pie filling evenly over the bottom of a greased 9" x 13" x 2" pan. In a large mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, and baking powder. Add milk, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Blend on low speed of mixer. Beat on medium speed of mixer for 1 minute. pour batter over cherry pie filing. Bake at 350 *F for 40 to 45 minutes or until done. Cool 10 minutes in pan; invert and cool. Makes one cake.
