How to make it

  • Spread cherry pie filling evenly over the bottom of a greased 9" x 13" x 2" pan. In a large mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, and baking powder. Add milk, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Blend on low speed of mixer. Beat on medium speed of mixer for 1 minute. pour batter over cherry pie filing. Bake at 350 *F for 40 to 45 minutes or until done. Cool 10 minutes in pan; invert and cool. Makes one cake.
