Eggnog Cheesecake

- graham cracker crust , 9 inch deep dish shopping list
- (this recipe will fill 2 of the store-bought graham cracker crusts.) shopping list
- for half the filling, 1/2 cup crumbled shredded wheat spread evenly on bottom of pan shopping list
- 16 oz cream cheese or "better than cream cheese" shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 T. flour shopping list
- 1/2 t. nutmeg shopping list
- 3/4 cup "Nog" (real eggnog would work too!!) shopping list
- 2 T. dark rum or 2 tsp. vanilla ( I used both) shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
How to make it
- Beat together the cream cheese , the flour , nutmeg, and sugar. When totally creamed together, beat in the nog and rum and/or vanilla.
- Follow with the eggs, one at a time. Turn out into prepped crust, and bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 mins. Chill thoroughly before serving.
- btw: The 1st time I made this with a single graham crust onhand, and LotS of batter left, I put the excess in a small deep dish and sprinkled on the crumbled shredded wheat, maybe 2 Tablespoons. It turned out especially delish! baked around 15 minutes at 325.
