Maple Cream Sauce

- 1 cup pure maple syrup shopping list
- 1/2 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
How to make it
- Combine maple syrup, cream, and butter in a medium saucepan. Stir to blend; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue boiling, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. This mixture can boil quite high, so be sure to watch it carefully and reduce heat or stir as necessary.
- Makes 1 1/2 cups

Yum! We use maple syrup frequently in our house. My husband mixes butter, maple syrup, and pecans, cooks it to a syrup stage and puts it on his ice cream. Sounds like yours is great flavor. Your sauce would be good on pound cake too. Good post!
