How to make it

  • 1.) Boil squash until tender salt and pepper to taste.
  • 2.)In a large bowl mix cheese,tomatoes,chicken soup,onion,garlic,sour cream
  • 3.)Drain squash mash with 1/2 stick of butter then mix it with cheese,tomato mixture, mix thoroughly
  • 4.) pour into buttered aluminum pan (I use Pam nonstick cooking spray)
  • 5.) Top with crushed Ritz crackers pour melted butter over crackers.
  • 6.) Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. It will be soupy but let stand for 10 minutes or overnight.
  • 7.) overnight is better to let flavors marry
