This recipe was given to me by a neighbor from the Philipines when I lived in military housing many years ago. It was my first exposure to this particular ethic food. Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground pork shopping list
- 1 lb shrimp, cleaned/deveined and coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1 can water chestnuts, shredded shopping list
- 1 bunch green onions, cut in small pieces shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp black pepper shopping list
- Dash accent shopping list
- Lumpia or eggroll wrappers shopping list
How to make it
- Brown pork
- Mix all ingredients until evenly mixed
- Divide into equally small portions and wrap
- Deep fry until golden and heated throughout
- Serve with sweet and sour sauce or vinegar with garlic
