How to make it

  • Mix together flour, sugar, baking soda and cocoa in a large mixing bowl.
  • Slowly incorporate applesauce and vanilla, and then vinegar in water, coffee and raspberry puree.
  • Pour into greased and battered cake pans and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until done.
  • Allow to cool before frosting.

    This recipe will fit 2 9" round or square pans, a 9x13" pan or about 12-14 muffins.
