How to make it

  • 1. Dredge beef cubes in flour,salt, pepper mixture.
  • 2. Pan fry in butter until golden brown.
  • 3. Put the pan-fried meat in deep pot, add water, onions,garlic, beef stock and bay leaf.
  • 4. Slow cook for one hour, then put in bacon bits. Continue cooking over low fire, stirring occasionally for another hour.
  • 5. Toss in carrots and simmer for another 30 min or until beef in tender.
  • 6. Serve and enjoy with potatos, rice or bread.
  • Serves 4-6
