Kamut® Cookies For Creme

- 3 oz (7 tbsp) sugar shopping list
- 1.5 oz non-hydrogenated shortening shopping list
- 2 tbsp coffee shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 3 oz (about 13 tbsp) Kamut flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder shopping list
- 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream the sugar and shortening together, then add the coffee and vanilla and beat in.
- Stir in the flour, cocoa, cornstarch and salt.
- Roll out to 1/4" thickness and cut into small rectangles.
- Bake for 12 minutes. Cool completely on the sheets.
