Odds And Ends Trail Energy Bar

A spin off the "Island Energy Bar" by zena824, that I found and LOVE... this is a few different things added, and tweaked to make it nice for hikes
Ingredients
- 1 bag miniature marshmallows shopping list
- 1 T butter shopping list
- 2 c crisp rice cereal shopping list
- 1 c honey nut cheerios shopping list
- 1/2 c quick oats shopping list
- 1/8 c flax seed shopping list
- 1/8 c approx honey wheat germ shopping list
- 1/2 c raisins shopping list
- 1/2 c sunflower seeds shopping list
- 1/2 c craisins shopping list
- any other dried fruit, nuts or seeds you might like shopping list
- *keep in mind the more you add the more marshmallows you will need to hold it all together* shopping list
How to make it
- PREMEASURE all add ins and have ready to "dump" into marshmallows
- Melt the butter and marshmallows in a pot on the stove top
- Once melted, add everything else to a large bowl and mix well (I use the pan I'm going to let them cool on so that I have less to wash)
- Once everything is mixed up and sticky, spread out on a pan or wax paper to cool
- *I roll them between two sheets of wax paper to the thickness I want, then cut wax paper and all to put in baggies for hiking trips, grocery trips, diaper bag, anything....*
