Holy Sandwich Recipe

	Itsajourney / All my dishes 2 years, 3 months ago An easy and very flavorful baked and crusty sandwich that goes quite far. I saw a similar recipe on Emeril adn we have adapted it with time. Prep:20m Cook:20m Servings:4	Itsajourney

Ingredients

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

1 lb bulk pork sausage (we use spicy)

1 teaspoon of minced garlic or 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

1/4 cup of room temperature butter

1/4 cup of parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

1 large french loaf

Directions

Preheat oven to 350

Brown sausage on medium heat

Add peppers and onions and sweat down a bit

Add black pepper and keep warm

Mix cheese, butter and garlic in a bowl

Spread cheese mixture on both sides of a halved French loaf

Spread meat and pepper mixture onto loaf and close together.

Wrap loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes or until heated through and crusty. Serve!
