Bread Crumb Bonanaza

- 1- 2 dozen large hot dog rolls , dried out and made into crumbs which made approximately 12 cups dried bread crumbs shopping list
- South-Western, Mexican style bread crumbs shopping list
- 4 cups dried bread crumbs shopping list
- 3-4 Tbs taco seasoning shopping list
- 1 Tbs salt or to taste ( some taco seasoning already have salt ) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp black pepper or to taste shopping list
- Optional: dried powdered cheese of choice shopping list
- French style bread crumbs: shopping list
- 4 cups dried bread crumbs shopping list
- 3-4 Tbs herbs De Provence shopping list
- 1 Tbs salt or to taste shopping list
- 1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste shopping list
- Italian style bread crumbs: shopping list
- 4 cups dried bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 Tbs dried basil shopping list
- 1 Tbs dried oregano shopping list
- 1 Tbs dried parsley shopping list
- 1 Tbs. garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tbs salt or to taste shopping list
- 1/2 tsp black pepper or to taste shopping list
- Optional: dried parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Make sure you dry out the rolls so they are dry and crumbly
- Process in a food processor in batches to make fine bread crumbs
- Divide bread crumbs into 3 bowls
- Add seasonings and salt to taste
- Store in covered glass containers or jars
- If you add cheese, store bread crumbs in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
- Use the bread crumbs as one normally would: to coat meat, poultry, fish, veges etc
- Or use in burgers, meatloaf, seafood and meat stuffing etc as a binder
- Or a a crumb topping for casseroles, mac and cheese etc.
- Note: nice for gift giving if placed in decorated jars
