How to make it

  • Make sure you dry out the rolls so they are dry and crumbly
  • Process in a food processor in batches to make fine bread crumbs
  • Divide bread crumbs into 3 bowls
  • Add seasonings and salt to taste
  • Store in covered glass containers or jars
  • If you add cheese, store bread crumbs in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
  • Use the bread crumbs as one normally would: to coat meat, poultry, fish, veges etc
  • Or use in burgers, meatloaf, seafood and meat stuffing etc as a binder
  • Or a a crumb topping for casseroles, mac and cheese etc.
  • Note: nice for gift giving if placed in decorated jars
